How Jotify Reviews ratings work

The displayed rating is a plain arithmetic mean of published, non-deleted reviews. Jotify does not call it a proprietary trust score and does not secretly increase a rating for paying, verified or claimed Pages.

Included

Only published reviews that have not been deleted. Every star rating contributes once.

Excluded

Pending, hidden, rejected and deleted reviews do not affect the public average or distribution.

Labels

Invited, verified-experience and relationship disclosures add context but do not change the numerical weight.

Integrity review

Automated rules only prioritize independent human review. They never publish, hide, reject or label a reviewer automatically.

Owner controls

A Page team may respond or flag a review. It cannot remove, publish or rewrite a review about itself.

Appeals

Eligible reviewers and Page teams can appeal. Response and resolution deadlines are recorded and evidence references are hashed.

Calculation

public average = sum(published star ratings) ÷ number of published reviews

Rating distributions show the count and percentage for each star level. Trend views compare published review averages over explicit time windows; they are descriptive and are not a prediction of quality.
